Who i am
Hi, I’m Max. Otherwise known as the host of this lovely podcast.
I'm a WoW addict, Anime lover, Dad, and I hope to be an educator for you guys.
Throughout my long 28 years of life (Yeah, I’m calling out the old 30+ year olds in here) I’ve had the chance to develop my skills, further my education, and learn from SOME of my mistakes.
My goal with this Podcast is to use my education & experiences to tell stories, spread knowledge, and have fun in ways that will benefit everybody.
Currently, I work at a University in the business department, I’m a dad, I’m a husband, I’m a gamer, & I’m an anime lover. It took me quite some time to get to this point. I often hear stories of overnight millionaires or the person who wakes up at 4am and that’s the only reason they’re successful. I’m here to put my efforts on full display, I’m here to be judged, I’m here to be wrong, I’m here to be right. I’m here.
In Highschool I quite literally had the lowest GPA LOL, in college I nearly failed out my Sophomore year, but I pulled myself together and moved 4 hours away from where I lived to chase my girlfriend (now wife) because I knew she was what I needed to pull myself out of the rut I was in and become who I needed to be.
I graduated college with a pretty low GPA, I began working as a Medical Tech and it was the only job I could get with my business degree, I stayed there two years and managed to snag a job with them but in my field. Two years went by and I began applying for new jobs as I had outgrown my role, I applied to over 500 businesses before I ever got an interview. Didn’t get that job, applied for a lot more, finally got interviewed again, didn’t get that either, and then finally got the job where I am now.
It’s rough out here sometimes, but we have to discipline ourselves and keep going. Cause you’ve got this, I’m cheering for you everyday.
I hope throughout this journey we get to know each other and learn from each other. I’m a yapper married to a certified yapper (Speech Therapist.. haha.. get it..), so don’t kill me for when I begin the non-stop talking about subjects I love.
But again, thanks for joining me.
